OUR COMMITMENT TO THE BREAST CANCER CAUSE: 15 YEARS AND $50 MILLION
Fifteen years ago, an employee at
our Carson City, California, Yoplait
plant lost a family member to cancer
and helped organize the plant’s
support for a local race to raise
funds to fight cancer.
Since then, General Mills has contributed more than $50 million for the breast cancer cause through programs like Save Lids to Save Lives, Pink Together and Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure® Series. Now even more General Mills’ brands have joined the fight against breast cancer by carrying pink Save Lids to Save Lives lids.
With every lid redeemed, you’re helping women and families in your community. Donations triggered through Save Lids to Save Lives will benefit Susan G. Komen® and its network of more than 120 local Affiliates.
General Mills' partnership with Susan G. Komen® has supported millions of women fighting the disease in communities across the country by helping to fund education, treatment and research initiatives.
